2. Personal Data Processed
As part of using the website and the online shop, we process the following categories of personal data:
- Account data: name, surname, email address, phone number and password (stored in encrypted form), if you choose to register.
- Order data: products purchased, amounts, shipping and billing addresses, contact email and phone number, chosen payment method and payment status.
- Saved addresses: the addresses you choose to store in your account address book.
- Communications: name, email and content of messages sent through the contact form, and the email provided for newsletter subscription.
- Transactional emails: we send you service communications strictly linked to your orders and your account (order confirmation, shipping updates, password reset).
We do not process special categories of data (art. 9 GDPR) and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making processes.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
- Order and account management (sale, shipping, assistance, transactional emails): execution of the contract or pre-contractual measures, art. 6.1.b GDPR.
- Tax and accounting obligations related to purchases: legal obligation, art. 6.1.c GDPR.
- Response to requests sent via the contact form: pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject, art. 6.1.b GDPR.
- Sending the newsletter: consent, art. 6.1.a GDPR, revocable at any time by writing to hello@fragmentavenezia.com.
- Website security (prevention of abuse and fraud): legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f GDPR.
4. Payments
Card payments are managed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., which operates as an independent data controller for payment data: your full card data never passes through our systems and is transmitted in encrypted form directly to Stripe. If you choose bank transfer, we only receive confirmation of the payment from our bank.
5. Data Recipients
Data may be disclosed, solely for the purposes indicated above, to: technical service providers hosting the site and the sales infrastructure (appointed as data processors ex art. 28 GDPR), couriers and logistics operators in charge of order delivery, Stripe for card payments, professionals and authorities for tax and legal compliance. Data is not sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
Order data is kept for 10 years from the completion of the purchase, in compliance with civil and tax obligations. Account data is kept as long as the account remains active or until your request for deletion. The newsletter subscription email is kept until consent is withdrawn. Contact form messages are kept for the time necessary to manage the request.
7. Rights of the Data Subject (articles 15-22 GDPR)
You can exercise at any time the rights provided by articles 15-22 of the GDPR: access to your data, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, opposition to processing and withdrawal of consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal). To exercise them, write to hello@fragmentavenezia.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali - www.garanteprivacy.it).
8. Cookies and Measurement Tools
This site uses technical cookies, necessary for the operation of the shop: the cart cookie, the session cookie for authentication to the reserved area and the storage of essential preferences. For these cookies, consent is not required.
Subject to your consent, we also use statistical cookies (“Statistics” category) provided by PostHog — an analysis platform with servers in the European Union — to understand how the site is used and improve it: pages visited, purchase funnel, errors encountered and anonymous recording of navigation sessions. In the recordings, form fields are always masked and payment pages are never recorded. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
On your first visit you are asked to choose: you can accept, reject or select individual categories. Without your consent, no statistical tool is activated. The choice can be revoked at any time by deleting cookies from the browser; you will be asked for consent again on your next visit.
